This role can be based in Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester or Nottingham.

Description
The Chief Technology Office is a high-performing, motivated and collaborative team responsible for delivering a portfolio of property technology standards across government, and have a Civil Service Operations Board mandate to support the work. Our aim is to provide a best in class, interoperable approach to property technology delivery within government buildings. This involves delivering those changes within the GPA managed estate and collaborating with the other government departments to deliver this elsewhere.
The Technology function supports clients and customers in their preparation and move to more effective technology and helps them to realise the full benefits of a great place to work. User research and customer satisfaction feedback is core to achieving our goals effectively.

Job Offer
Alongside your salary of £62,900, GPA contributes £13,959 towards you being a member of the CS DBP Pension scheme.
GPA is also committed to recognising and rewarding where our staff hold the ‘Gold Standard’ accreditation relevant to their Specialism and offer a specific non-pensionable allowance to staff who have achieved this. This amounts to a potential extra £5,000 Which is non-pensionable.

Sift
The closing date is 2.2.24, the sift is due to take place by 9.2.24 but is subject to change.
As part of the application process, you will be asked to produce a 500-word statement, which should then align with the Person Specification, (At interview, applicants will be scored against 4 behaviours – Managing a Quality Service, Communicating and Influencing, Seeing The Bigger Picture, and Delivering at Pace.)
Applicants successful at sift will be invited to interviews, due to take place week commencing 18.2.24 and will be a virtual interview.
This is subject to change dependent upon where most successful candidates are based.
Interview questions will be a blend of Behaviour, Experience, Strength and Technical (core skill) questions.
