Senior Medical Writer – Medical Affairs / Medical Communications

Office-based – Hybrid – UK Remote

Due to continuing growth, my client, a large Medical Communications Agency, is looking for a Senior Medical Writer.

As a Senior Medical Writer, you will develop scientific expertise in assigned therapeutic areas, supporting delivery that includes creative, digital, client services, medical analytics, editorial, and health economics outcome research.Within this role you will be researching and developing technical materials, ensuring accuracy in content and editorial style, medical content including strategy, planning, conferences, advisory boards, interactive content, and publications.You will also attend scientific meetings and communicate with clients and key opinion leaders on content development.

What you’ll need to succeed

Previous experience working in a Medical Writing role, within a medical communications agency environment with an academic background in the life sciences. You will possess experience writing across a broad range of scientific deliverables e.g. training materials, slide sets, interactive content, conference booths, competitive intelligence, for a variety of medical audiences and reviewing materials for style/consistency, scientific accuracy, proofreading, layout.
