Senior Building Surveyor
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing the development and design of the project.
Supervising the day to day assistance to the project team.
Directing the development and maintenance of a strong client base specifically building surveying matters and also generally.
Providing all instructions and maintaining comprehensive records for all work undertaken.
Identifying building defects.
Completing land surveys.
Writing technical reports.
Advising on property legislation.
Preparing budgets and contracts.
Complying with the company’s health and safety standards.
Your experience, knowledge and skills need to include:
Previous working experience in a similar role is preferred.
Experience in construction or consultancy industry is essential.
Technical knowledge and competency in building surveying.
Good negotiation, presentation and report writing skills.
Strong IT skills.
A degree in building surveying, construction management and engineering is preferred but is not essential.
Professional memberships are an advantage but are not essential.
