This multi-site accommodation business with sites across the London area seek an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to manage 2 entities. These are high end properties and the business prides itself in providing excellent customer care and service to their tenants. Candidate from a 4 and 5 star hotel background will be of particular interest. You must have possess a hands on approach and have previous management experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of 5 staff, scheduling works and delegating all work to be undertaken
• Maintain accurate records of work carried out and provide regular reports to Senior Management
• React to emergency situations, utilising external contractors if required
• Act as an intermediary between the business and external contractors for all installation and building development projects. Ensure contractors have appropriate access and are adhering to H&S
• Control of inventory and maintenance equipment for the buildings

Skills and qualification

• Recognised construction, maintenance or facilities qualification (Electrical of particular interest)
• Demonstrable experience of working within a trade “on the tools”
• Management experience
• Health and Safety courses or qualification
• Computer literate
• Excellent communication skills
• Organised
