Head of Media and Communications UK&Ireland Does an attractive, London-based position in the tourism industry excite you? For the UK&Ireland representation in London, we are looking for an experienced and motivated professional with an outgoing personality and autonomous working style to fill this vacant position, reporting to the Director UK&Ireland.

Your area of responsibility

• Grow and maintain strong relationship with key media, freelancers and influencers in the UK and Ireland
• Curate the UK-specific social media channels and content, grow following and engagement
• Plan and execute influencer and social media campaigns
• Plan, organize and execute media events in the UK&Ireland and media trips to Switzerland
• Prepare content for media professionals, pitch stories and respond to media inquiries
• Liaison with Swiss and local partners
• Explore and manage TV and other media-specific projects
• Manage reporting of media results and database
• Lead team of two (one employee, one trainee)

Our Expectations

• At least four years of working experience in international media relations/communications
• Experience in social media (incl. knowledge of channels/specific communication) and influencer management (incl. collaboration with agencies, trend spotting)
• Proficient command of English (spoken and written), good knowledge of German or French
• Excellent knowledge of Switzerland as a holiday, travel destination
• Working experience in the UK and knowledge of the UK media landscape as an advantage
• High level of initiative, independence, creativity as well as communications and organisational skills, team player
• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to travel within the UK, Ireland and Switzerland/working some evenings and weekends
• Project and budget management skills, proven track record in event management
